TIPS
It is necessary to take a rucksack that is spacious and comfortable. It is necessary to have care with the weight of the rucksack since it can damage in the back.

Of clothes it is necessary to take 3 or 4 articles of underwear for the way, take comfortable and broad clothes. The clothes can wash in the lodgings since there are washers or also to take a soap to clean the clothes to hand. It is necessary to take a trousers that is impermeable against the water and another ligerito as a tracksuit. Not to forget a towel and a sleeping bag. STRUCTURE


The structure of 7 days of excursion will be the following one:

On the 1st: Arrival to Net: After 17 hours of trip in bus Lepe-net, we lodge at the Lodging Monastery of the Sponge-cake.

On the 2nd: Stage Sarria-Portomarín:
They are crossed 20km approximately in a time of between 4 at 5 hours. We will cross rural ways under oakwoods and small villages like Lavandeira or Ferreiros. At the arrival to Portomarín, we will cross the river Miño, which under these waters the former Portomarín rests. We lodge at the Lodging Ferramenteiro.

On the 3rd: Stage  Portomarín-Palas de Rei:
They are crossed 23km in a time of between 5 at 6 hours. We will promote first Castromaior and later to Ligonde's Saw to descend little by little across the villages of Eirexe and Ligonde up to the villa of Rei's Spades. We lodge at the Lodging Inn Benedictine monk.
On the 4th: Stage Palas de Rei-Arzúa:
They are crossed 29km in a time of between 6 at 7 hours. We will advance across rural ways and medieval bridges up to Melide, from where we will continue for an agricultural landscape that will take us up to Arzúa after crossing the river Iso. We lodge at the Lodging Milky Way.

On the 5th: Stage Arzúa - O pino:
They are crossed 20km in a time of between 5 at 6 hours. We cross green hills up to Rúa's locality. During this stage we will meet hermitages as that of Holy Irene. We lodge at the Lodging Edreira.
On the 6th: Stage O pino - Santiago:
They are crossed 18km in a time of between 4 at 5 hours. After happening for Pedrouzo we will rise for Amenal and will descend up to Lavacolla, later we will promote up to the Mount do Pleasure. From there the towers of the cathedral will be seen by the first time. From there, only it will lack us 4 km to come to the city, to which we will come across the beautiful streets of the old hull of Santiago de Compostela. We lodge at the Lodging Minor Seminar.

On the 7th: Exit: After visiting some emblematic places of Santiago de Compostela, we will return to Lepe in bus.



STAGES

Stage 1

 Net.
After the Rúa Maior, walking close to the building of the Preventive detention, we come to the viewing-point on Net, adorned with a cruise. Approximately three hundred meters after the viewing-point, the way is near the Convent of the Sponge-cake. The stage descends close to the wall of the cemetery up to the  river “Small”. The village appears later.

From here we approach up to Vilei where a sculpture receives us in memory of Don Germán Arias. At once, to left hand, we see Vilei's rest area.

Later we continue to Barbadelo's  parish, an informative panel makes relapse our attention into the Romanesque church of Santiago, to several meters of the Way.

We leave the lodging of pilgrims of Barbadelo to right hand and continue again for local route  to the villages of Rent and Mercado da Serra.

On having crossed it is not continued by the road but there takes a wooded corridor that arises abreast. Seven hundred meters hereinafter we come close to the doors of Marzán's Mill. We twist ninety degrees to the right and cross the winter pasal, arriving to Leiman.

Later Peruscallo appears, with presence of some barns.. It would be enough to begin afoot in this point to obtain Compost. A few meters hereinafter Morgade is.

To the exit, a cartel us gives the welcome to the Concello de Paradela. After that, We reach Ferreiros.

Later, we found the church Santa Maria. Continue walking we arrive to A Pena

Then we arrive to Couto and Rozas. In a minutes we reach to Mercadoiro.

STAGE 2
Portomarin
We turn back from the lodging up to San Nicolas Church and we have to follow walking  for cross San Antonio Mountain. After we cross many towns like San Mamede, Velade y Toxibo after the last one we arrive to the first stop of this stage, Gonzar.


Gonzar
We cross between a public lodging and turn towars to the left and we take a track and we arrived to Castomaior.

Castromaior
From  Castromaior we take for a raise up to arrive to a walker. Afterwards we cross for a par of roads to arrived Hospital da Cruz.

We take a provist road and the following poblation that we are going to visit is Ventas de Narón, at the exit we can find Monterroso.


Monterroso
A right hand, you can find Os Lameiros, and nea it we arrived to Ligonte and following this town we find Lestedo.

Lestedo
We raise up to Os Valos for go down to Mamurria. After that arrives Avenostre. And following this town we arrived Palas de Rei.

Stage 3

Palas de Rei
We cross the road near ¨Casa del Concello de Palas de Rei¨ and  some kilometers below we can see the San Xulian do Camiño campside.

Later we cros for a Fangorn´s forest, for arrive to Casanova. After that we arrive to campanilla, a little town who is near the next point, O Coto.

At the exit of O Cote we left the road for the left to arrived to Leboreiro.

We retire Leboreiro and cross Seco´s river, and we will arrive to Lugo avenue. After pass Lugo we go to Boente, but we must cross first towns like Melide and Valverde.

After Santiago´s Church we turn to right hand and go down up to arrive to La Castañeda. Then we walk like 2 kilometers and arrived to Arzua, where we are going to find some lodgings, restaurants etc.



Stage 4

Arzúa 
From to  ¨la rúa Cima do Lugar¨  to start from ¨la emprendrada rua do Carmen¨. After  we go down up to os Franceses´ fountain, we cross Vello´s river and we arrived to As Barrosas, we go down up to Brandeso´s river and we raise to Preguntoño.

From here we have somes facing to Arzua. We go down up to ¨el riachuelo Ladron¨for reach later Salceda

Later we arrive to Oxen, place of San Miguel de Cerdeda´s Parish. From here, we go up to Ras. In the other side we find here A Brea and the nearby A Rabiña. After that we arrives to O empalme


O Empalme
Later we take a track which descends under the eucalyptuses. Somes houses and one sawmill and more eucalyptuses guide up to A Rua.

Stage 5
O Pino
Starting in the public hostel  we cross the town near to the road and we turn to arrive at rúa do Concello. For a route, we left to enter in San Antón, the village of the monastery of Arca.Then, we arrived to the parish of San Miguel de Pereira en Cimadevilla. We enter for the road and crossing  river Brandelos.

We continue walking arriving to the top, we take A-54 y la N-634 routes. After that we enter in Santiago. We circle the airport, and then crossing one road we enter in San Paio.

We take a road for the right, that descend for the parish of Sabugueira: to Esquipa and Lavacolla

Lavacolla 
After that, We pass near San Pelayo. Then a road  and we take destour of Viamaior. Later we cross the river Sionlla, When the pilgrims wash her clothes.
We start a ascend to Monte do Gozo. Traverse first Villamaior. We continue to san Marcos

San Marcos 
We turn left to ascend at a monument, that is the biggest in all the trek. In this point we have the first panoramic view of the catedral.
Monte do Gozo 
Then we crooss on a bridge some roads and after that we continue to Rúa San Lázaro,where is the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions of Galicia. We conncet to Rúa to Valiño and we keep on walking in rúa das Fontiñas and rúa dos Concheiros.
For the Porta do Camiño we enter in the old part of Santiago for rús das casas reais, it ascend to praza de Cervantes. Rúa da Acibechería take us to praza da Inmaculada, where is San Martín Pinario. Finally we pass under Arco del Palacio, to acces at praza del Obradoiro, where the travel finish. While we take off the backpack we discover every detail of the west facade and headed in center of the square. It's hard not to get excited. Getting to Santiago de Compostela as a pilgrim is unique experience and I think that we will make many trips around the world but it will be very different and exiting.
